I took this during the rainy season in Madagascar, the swollen, raging river below shows a prime example of top soil washed away from the land, which is eventually taken out to sea and lost. I took this with a wide angle lens and was so shocked at how close the lorry was when I took my camera away from my eye! I didn't fancy standing on the extremely narrow 'pavement' as the lorry whooshed past, it felt way too dangerous, so I ran all the way back in the direction I'd come as fast as I could, with the lorry hot on my heals - relieved to finally be back on solid land I turned to look up at the driver, he gave me a kindly wave but at the same time was roaring with laughter! I felt so embarrassed! LOL
