I was lucky enough to have this spider build a web right outside my front door. As I was taking picures of it one night a maple leaf fell right into the upper right of the web. THe spider waited a moment then went up and began cutting all the silk lines that were holding it in place.
THe spider then took a few steps down the web with the leaf in its jaws and dropped the leaf.
Though I'd like to say that was the end of the story it's not. When the poor spider dropped the leaf it fell into the bottom of the web and got stuck again. LOL THe spider had to cut more lines to free it. By the time the spider was finished half of its web was gone.

I wanted to present something differant and this fit that thought perfectly.This was, definitely something you don't see every day. I thought you might enjoy the story and picture as much as I did.
