The beautiful tigers are an endangered species, after being hunted for their skins and body parts as trophies or for use in medicines. Their striped patterns are unique, like human fingerprints and no two are the same. I painted this tiger who has just finished eating and is licking his lips. I used soft chalk pastels on pastel paper for this. Unfortunately as usual the pastels haven't uploaded very well. Keep telling myself I'll not upload any more pastels!
