I just discovered this newfound flower when a Hoverfly started flying around the blossom. I was lucky enough to capture both the hoverfly in flight and the pretty flower. To catch this little bug in flight and in focus was pure joy. The flower in the image looks like a thistle, but the plant has big broad leaves and is about 4-5' high. There are no thorns on it either. If anyone recognizes it I'd love to know what it is. Thanks for stopping by and viewing! :o) Helvi
