Birds - Art Contest Entry
My brother in North Carolina has a tree full of cardinals in his backyard. The tree loses its leaves in winter and the cardinals are always a striking contrast to the barren tree and the cold gray winter sky. This is my attempt to capture that mood and the way they fluff out their feathers when they are cold.
