Progression Contest Entry 
The contest Progression ask to show how an artwork developed over time, This entry is about the making of a drawing of the cat goddess Bastet. #1: upper left: photo of the wooden statue used as model. #2: raw scratch on tracing-paper over raster-pattern for accurate proportion. #3: partly colored drawing, Sargent Art color Pencil on School drawing paper, contoured with Sharpie Fine Point. #4: Full colored drawing. Bastet The origins of the cat goddess lay in the nebulas of ancient history and mythology. I ancient Egypt she was knows as the Lion-Goddess Bast. Over the centuries she changed into the cat goddess Bastet who is still popular today.
