Little Red Riding Hood is a European folk tale with origins traced back to the 10th Century including one from Italy called La Fontana Nonna (the False Grandmother).

The Story has been changed in various retellings, adaptations and readings. The very early versions were vastly different than the most popular Grimms- inspired version. Not always a Bad Wolf. Sometimes a orge, vampire or werewolf. Sometimes Grandmother is eaten, sometimes locked in a closet. Very interesting how it changes according to time, culture, and place.

In a Norse myth of Little Red she runs away with the Wolf in order to save her Grandmother. All because of talking to a stranger, the Wolf, while walking in the woods. This is my art of Little Red and The Big Bad Wolf. No one will ever know what????? Really happened. Do you?
