Mixed Media: Major | This is a mixed Media I created from Winterberry, grass plumes and which had been covered with snow and ice. I cut out the section I wanted to showcase and all the nooks and crannies within it..... Created background into a pleasing gradient that would show off the floral display. Highlighted the edges of the ice, snow, winterberries and grass plumes. Changed the image to BW with a negative overly and slid the overlay a slight bit to give depth. I also slightly embossed the image.

Happy New Year EVERYONE! Hope you have a happy and healthy year ahead! :o)
I think I covered everything in the Mixed media Section. This is an arranged winterberry Floral done by my sister-in law for outdoor decoration. It's beautiful all by itself but with snow and freezing rain it becomes a "Winter Jewel" in my mind. This had SO may nooks and crannies it took a long time to cut it free from the original image.
