Wow! Scary scene! I would prefer to see them from a helicopter! A fine shot of the elephant herd! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good luck!

This is a wonderful look at these elephants and a great entry for the contest! I like how the elephants are lined up across the photo. The light and color are excellent. I enjoyed the story about the photo too.

a great photograph of these wonderful animals,
how luck you are fred to see these in the wild, I love elephants, I think the letterbox framing works well on this scene, great notes really tell a story of these animals lives in the wild, a pleasure to view.

what a fantastic story behind this photo. How excitingly beautiful to witness a herd of elephants , protecting their young and fending off wild prey. There is that one brave and/or foolish young calf out in front with the adults. Probably a male calf since they are more aggressive. Maybe if he survives, he will be the king! Nice composition and framing. Focus a tiny fuzzy. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

What an amazing panoramic view of these
elephants. I would run too if I saw this coming at me. What a beautiful thing to witness of how they protect their babies.
