Nice image.
Great color, shading and depth.
The trees look like they are having either a quite civil conversation or an argument.
I love the way the tones fade into the horizon, giving the viewer a sense of time passing.
Quite a nice piece.
And the rocks, rock!

A beautiful take on the landscape theme, including a lovely bold range of colours from deep and light blue in the water right through to well suited shades of brown on the fields and rocks on the edge, and the greenery surrounding it. The dead tree still standing firm as a centrepiece is a great addition to this piece, painted with wonderful depth and perspective, showing the small farm buildings in the top right nicely. A lovely piece, well composed and a best of luck in the competition!! :)

As you mentioned in your notes accompanying another picture-dead/leafless trees seem much more interesting to draw ( and to view! ) than a lot of the big bushy 'live' ones generally are and that idea is illustrated wonderfully here! : )
