Fantabulous abstraction with superb eye clarity!

Harmonious colors with flowing strokes.

Visually appealing stripes.
I like that black & white strip on the left frame.
I catches focal attention.

Thanks for sharing...

Great image and very thought provoking.
Body dysmorphea is such a huge issue when Barbie has a 14" waist and is like a 50 triple D on top.
Women are constantly told they are too old to wear that, or too fat, not skinny enough, too sexy, etc, etc.
I have known a number of friends with eating disorders, so this really speaks to me.
Great job and awesome piece!

The symbolism is seen at once Linda.

I can see a woman, her hair and confusion. I would not have known the confusion was about her body, but confusion is seen and we could read into this as much as our imaginations allow and you have succeeded with your art to stir up thought and emotions in the viewer.

The only comment I can offer (ahem) is that the gray zebra like stripes at the left side somehow don't mesh with all the other wonderful colours...but I know this is all about artistic prerogative and I bow to yours.

I might have been a little puzzled without your notes. Truth be told, i am puzzled with the notes. I do see the womanly shape and I understand the eye. I do love color and abstract form but I am a little obtuse about most abstract art. But I do like it. Really!!

Hi Linda!
It's an attractive abstract creation indeed,my friend!
Pastels?
Thanks for including the informative notes as,to be honest about it,I wouldn't have figured what you were hinting at with it on my own! ( Being a weird old man with my own distinct way of seeing Women and all! : ) )

Taking a slightly different tack, I see the eye has the view of zebras, unicorns and other fuzzy cute animal parts. The conception of your notes is deeper than I can go in a few lines. I see is as an interesting and complicated concept.

A nice abstract painting done. I like the mix of colors used. It looks like a bird. The different shapes gives it an interesting look.
