This is such a pleasure to view. Your white is very pure and a perfect stage for these bees as they budge each other around for the best pollen or nectar...whichever they are collecting. Great job catching that one in mid air. And his place in the shadow is perfect...as if he is next in the landing order and is hovering until being cleared. Your green stems add quite a lot of interest to this overall frame..as they are a nice contrast as vertical and sharp lines to the textures of the flower and busy -ness of the bees. They seem to be encoring the scene to gain some order! :D Excellent exposure...as always. Thanks for sharing! Great job!

That is one popular wild Garlic plant, they're going to all have bad breath later! Fantastic close up of these 2 bees frantically gathering pollen from the bright white flowers of the plant, as what looks like either a hover fly or wasp is incoming with a menacing look on it's face, almost like a battle scene of sorts!! Fantastic timing and POV, and the clarity is great despite the unavoidable blur of the back of the closest bee. Good DOF creates a grey background that makes the piece stand out further, a really nice shot that could tell a great story in my opinion. Lovely shot :)

thanks I set some of the flowers I got for the hummingbirds next it to these flowers and the myriad of bees ignored them completely.

Popular in garlic?Weird! Yes, that flower top does look as if it is about to become crowded! Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done!

Mike a brilliant stop action picture of three Honey Bees on the white Garlic flower head, one on the wing above some distance away & the other two busy sucking nectar. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

As if they were in a Broadway production for insects, with the glorious set centered and lighted with perfection. These two bees, so busy working for the queen that they fail to notice the approach of the enemy. Excellent photography.

Thank you very much. I noticed the little wasp (?) that seemed to be attacking the honeybees and spent a half hour trying to capture the little guy in flight. The out of focus bee in the foreground is a bit unfortunate, but I did get the little attacker. Thanks again.
