Wow! Good artists notes and storytelling with your image. I love your perspective on this shot. Also love the rich vintage colors captured on this old Dodge sedan against the beautiful greenery. Your focus, lighting, clarity, and contrast are excellent. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing.

I love this one Sean.

How this guy is hidden in all that foliage is something to ponder on.

Who put it there? how long has it been there? and tons of other questions.

I love this.

Hi Eileen! Thanks so Very Very Much,my friend! : D
Those questions are the same ones that my cousin and I have been asking ourselves about this mysterious old hulk too!
Your great Six Star rating of my picture of it really Makes My Night! : )

It seems to me that someone should want to restore this classic. Does it ever happen? This is a travesty. Your image is wonderful. How do you find these? Great work and thank you for sharing.

Hi Paul! Thanks so very much for commenting on my picture of this old hulk,my friend! : ) Personally I doubt that anyone would ever attempt to restore this old Dodge! It's just too badly rotted ( the floor pan is totally rusted away and the frame rails are badly corroded ) and this model of car-while interesting-isn't considered anywhere near as valuable as Fords or Chevrolets of similar vintage are!

What an incredible and interesting find. Reminds me of an old ruin found in a jungle, buried under foliage.
Like the framing, and the imaginative story. Best of luck in the contest

There is not much left of that old Dodge. That capture makes it clear that "All is Vanity" and fame fades fast into the flow of time. I like your tight framing and the colors. The lighting is fine, except the plant in front center. It is a bit distracting. Could you turn that light down? Burning probably would work, but if your editing program has an airbrush, a 50-75% overlay of a darker green would be better.

Try it, I think I did see a tendency to lighten the foreground a tad too much in some other of your photos also.

Great composition. I wonder how it ended where it is now. Nice rustic colors for a rusty car in it`s slumber. How do you find such treasures?

Hello, Sean,
Yeah, it does look relaxed doesn't it? Or maybe you are the one to transpose happiness and relaxation into the photo? Are you going to dig it out and restore it? :P
Take care,
Nome

Hi Nome! Thanks so much,my friend! : ) My cousin plans on leaving this old hulk right there in the bushes! I don't blame her! It's way too far gone to ever consider restoring!
