Interesting image. I like the pattern in this, and the colours. I think that they work well. Each time that you look at it, you can imagine it being something else.

You may be out of your comfort zone but the artistic bend is evident in this kaleidoscopic presentation.

There is plenty of marginal space all round with good depth of tonal values giving this a meaty feel.

The colour palette is rich and alive and the border is colour coordinated with the rest of the image.

Rock solid.

Lovely artwork. I like how the shapes change with every row until your eye reaches the center of interest. The colors are very nice and soft. I could see this in a room that is full of green accent pieces or plants. I like it. Good luck in the contest.

I like this one a lot.....beautiful shapes and patterns with good movement. So beautiful are your many shades of green with touch of yellow. Your contrast between light and shadows within this abstract art has created depth and interest. A fine entry into the contest and good luck. Outstanding work...I love this one! Thanks for sharing!

Aptly capture for the comp!

Verdant subject with fine features & smooth textures.
Subtle lighting.
Square format frames nicely this globular subject.

Thanks for sharing!

It's nice to go out of your comfort zone. This piece reminds me more of a cactus blossom than a sunflower. I think it's the greens and I usually associate sunflowers and bees with cad yellows and reds. It is well done and visually appealing.

Yeah,I guess that Bumble Bee is missing completely but I'm enjoying the interesting 'Alien' look that this nicely modified Sunflower has!
It's pleasantly mysterious and very enjoyable to view!
'Good Show'!

    Sean,
Thanks a million for your complementary review. Yes the Bumble bee seems to have got lost from view, during the editing processes though she is still there SOMEWHERE.
