A beautiful & very skilfully carved statuette of this Tribal Lady carrying water on her head your ability to both carve the image but also give respect to the wood you have used is wonderful your photograph of is taken with superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus.

This seems the most advanced of your carvings so far. The woman is stylized, but seemingly presents all the typical features of her tribe. The statuette is thoroughly worked with great regard to the natural grow of the wood. I adore the attention to detail of the body as well as of the adornments. I like especially that the pedestal is part of the statue as it seems to be part of the natural environment. I am usually very carefully with six-stars, but I have no option than to award another of them to you.

super wood carving of a tribal woman carrying her basket on her head. As I carve wood myself, I note you did what I always try to do, follow the pattern of the wood. where it knocks and curves. Super work. I know from the carving I have done, that it takes a lot of time and patience to reach a perfect finish.

because I also wood carve, I know how difficult it is and how much patience it requires. I can do dozens of paintings in the time it takes me to complete one carving, however finding wood I can use here in the city is quite difficult.
