Now THIS is a different look from you James.
But I like it...a lot. Wonderful detail throughout. Face is amazing but so is the clothing. Excellent background....and colors.

I always appreciate the skills of drawing, Great composition, impressive character of the man. We don't have to see the horse, just a hint , but his eyes are talking, and tell the story of life. Thanks for sharing

A very fitting name for a character such as this by the looks of it! i don't know the background or recognise him but he certainly looks like what we'd call here in Yorkshire a "Wrong 'un!" - dodgy and no doubt the correct terminology would be a bandit of some kind. Excellently painted with a high degree of accuracy and proportion, and fine attention to detail on the stance, posture, facial features (I love the eye patch), and the top of the steed he travels on - and also the background of woodland that gives a sense of depth and perspective. A great painting, good work :)
