Of course I'm dying to know the name of this fascinating filigreed flower with the little creature from Mars dancing in the middle. Excellent photo composition and lighting for a rather complex subject. I hope you will submit another photo of it next year before it fully blooms.

What kind of a flower is it? Never seen one, but hey that's a great photo, maybe to much green taking away from the beauty of the flower itself, then mayb not. We all have our thoughts and ideas, but I like it very very pretty

Beautiful. I'd love to know what kind of exotic flower this is. The use of light is beautiful and the color is captivating. A touch of blue sky and the leaves frame this beauty in just the right way.

Really nice photo. I have never seen one this colour. I always find these flower interesting. How something as complex as this can come from a seed. I feel with the DOF used, the flower is competing with the leaves for a place in the shot. Even having them slightly blurred would help I feel. Well done :-)

Hi Jai...This is such a beautiful flower. Amazing really...in its detail and color. You have done a beautiful job capturing those colors in the natural light and surrounded by the deep green leaves. I love the blue that has been brought out of the lavender color. The sky gains importance because of that blue in the flower...they seem to be in sync in spite of the shield of leaves.

The details on the flower are very interesting and so well captured. It is a delight to be able to look closely and study the structure.

I love the autumn and winter. But I do always hate to see the last flower of the season as it bids us adieu. Thanks for sharing yours. Beautiful!

Harmonious colors.
Sharply focused Fine features & textures.

Central framing.
Subdued lighting.
Pin sharp focusing.

Verdant foliage lends a refreshing backdrop.

Good perspective & long depth of field... Thanks for sharing...
