I had a friend who died several years ago who grew one of these huge nasty smelling flowers one year. I knew they were pollenated by flies but, except in your photos, had never seen the phenomenon. A very nice shot with exquisite detail and beautiful colors. Good luck in the contest.

Deserves a 6, but I am clean out! Your full and central composition provides us with a great look at the scene. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done and good luck!

Yeah I heard of these plants before. Cool capture. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of these flies on the flower is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

Hi Anon

Haha. Poor flies but I guess that's all part of their short live's adventure. Looks like they will be lifelong buddies :) Excellent photography and good luck in the contest! R

I know of this plant actually. Doesn't have really huge blooms?
Regardless, this is a great and utterly amaxing macro.
The color is super clear and bright.
All the details are crisp.
Nice job!
