This is a very stunning photo. I love the power of the trees among the mist. The distance beyond the tree line is very interesting and makes the viewer look for hidden treasures among the mist. A very nice shot. Thank you for sharing.

This almost looks like a place that I have seen on one of my many trips to the mountains and I love to look way down there in the valley and look at all of those lights. I always enjoy looking at your work that you post especially the birds which is one of my favorite to take photos of. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. JackJr.

I love the way the trees stand against the night sky, well focused and composed showing the city lights, good use of the light. Well presented and a pleasure to view.

Nice. Love these twilight shots - wish I were better at it. Thinks I can just make out the "twin towers". Nice composition, framing focus and dof. Brownie Box Camera - I have one of those upstairs someplace! Thanks for sharing. And Happy New Year.

Chuck,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this one of my favourite views over Dublin.
The twin towers are chimneys of a power station now defunct. There was a move to remove them but it caused uproar as they have become such a landmark akin to the Eiffel tower in Paris, that was also due to be demolished after the exhibition it was built for as an exhibit.

Had to look at this one a few times. I like it. I like the moodiness about it, the monochromatic quality of it and the line web created by the tree branches. The dark bottom gives feeling of solidity that holds up the trees and sky. A beautiful picture. Reasons for my five star vote.

Susan, this is so lovely and soothing. Your exposure and focus are excellent. There is not a speck of noise! The only suggestion I might have is to take a bit more off of both sides. Those center 2 trees are really the star of the show. Well done.

Eva,
Thanks a million for your complementary review.
I wanted to show the light twinkling over the whole of Dublin, not just the centre, I would loose too much if I cropped as you suggest.
