Barbara, I too enjoy those filters very much. Is this Impasto taken down a tad?
This is a simple yet magical "art" piece where the artist used the filter (and post processing) skillfully retaining detail yet softening through brush strokes.
Composed into almost square on a diagonal tilt showing good details of light to dark. Slight vignette subtle but effective.
This would look beautiful blown up into HUGE and hung over a fireplace.
You need to sign it , make the signature small an humble for it is the art that speaks loudly.

Thank you so much for the lovely review! Sometimes I use impasto, but I used smudged 1 on this photo and made some adjustments. Then it had a tan colored vignette which I replaced with black.

Barbara, this is lovely. Your square crop and vignette work well. Your use of post processing has made for some unique texture. My only suggestion might be to bring up the highlights in the center even a touch more to really make that flower pop.

A very compelling shot. It has that misty look that dreams are made of. I like the tight framing and the gorgeous colors. I think that flowers and children often benefit from a soft focus.

This photograph is striking. I like the muted and soft focus as it shows how delicate a rose is. The contrasting green background works well to showcase the red/pink rose. The framing is tight and works nicely in the composition. Nice work.

Your lighting, focus, clarity, and contrast are excellent. So beautiful is your background and I like the vignetting putting all the emphasis on your gorgeous rose. The Pink against Green coloration of the image gives it a perfectly Classic look

This is Lovely Barbara!
There is a dreamy softness here that works due to the impressesion filter used giving it that painterly look.
The fuschia color blends in well with the green background.
