What a wonderful rendering of your sons beloved cat. Spider's eyes look great. You have truly captured his personality. Spunky and not afraid of things bigger then him. Great job of fur and whiskers. He looks soft and touchable. Wonderful work of art. I am sure your son loves this piece very much!

Spider not only reminds me of several of the black cats that I've owned and loved over the decades but your drawing of him shows off the look of Feline Mystery that such creatures have in a perfectly enjoyable way!

Suzanne ....this is just so beautifully done. I love the effects of the black on black....it can't be an easy processing to make it work so well. You just want to reach out and touch this gorgeous creature....but you have it with the eyes and capturing Spiders personality. Your incredible shading brings that fur to life and making it so realistic. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing. Your pastel work is incredible!

Love the eyes on your son's cat Spider. They light up the artwork. Nice detail in the eyes, ears and fur. Keeping the background dark adds an element of mystery to the cat.

Not this one. I can almost hear it purring! Highlighting and shading are beautifully rendered! A wonderful impressive piece!
