Oh yes, I did see this one and meant to get back to it. Like the little brown road going through; nice greenery; see a hint of purple or some color near the center; I do see the red; good blue sky that makes a good color contrast to break up things; the shades of green kind of create depth; good Sun and lighting; looks like a lot of work went into this spot; looks peaceful; looks like a nice place to stop and "smell the roses" if you will; good photo.

The purple in the middle are CLEMATIS swimmer. They really fill out that trellis by the end of the summer. You're right about a lot of work here but I've been working on the gardens for 15 years now. Mostly a lot of weeding and mulching now....haven't built a new bed recently. Anyway, you're a dear for checking this one out and giving it such a wonderful review/rating. I do really appreciate it. Thank you soooo much!

Mom and I were commenting on our yard this morning. Our hibiscus needs to be cut down 'cause it's not blooming. All there is is dead leaves on a grey trunk. My daffodil is staying green but not blooming. We've got a cactus that keeps going and going and going. Take care.

So your Daffodil survived it's pruning then swimmer??

I took it to the house to let Mom do what's needed to make it go on. We've got nice Sun and the 80s right now. So, it's enjoying being outside. The leaves are still green. Hope it makes it.

Fifties aren't too bad; quite nippy though. I will agree it's a heck of a lot better than what you have been having. I hope soon you'll have to worry about keeping cool. Take care.

Beautiful shot of the countryside Deb. I finally tired of New England's snow and moved south where it is tropical year round, so I totally get the "need for green" this time of year. Such great, vibrant color and well framed. I feel like we are just peeking around the corner of the wood shed into a magical place. Lovely and well presented.

You're welcome. Hope you are well and surviving yet another storm to come. I miss the birds in the snow, but that's it. Have a good weekend Deb. Aimee

This photo does make you long for summer. Yesterday it hit 65 degrees and was a nice taste of what is to come. Now, tonight we are supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow and it is supposed to stick. It looks like you have a great garden in your back yard and you have shot this with a nice sharp focus letting you explore the flowers more closely. The wispy strands of what looks like wheat draw your eye into the scene where it looks like a magical scene of brilliant blue skies and lovely, bright colored flowers. Nice work.

What a crazy weather roller coaster you're on Karen. Warmish here too yesterday- although NOTHING like 65*.....So appreciate you having a look at my gardens and thank you so much for giving it such a lovely review.

A very green and lovely garden view. It is hard to imagine that it is now covered in snow. Something we don't get in Australia where I live. I may have cropped the bottom left corner above the ledge there, but just my opinion.
It is a lovely summer image of your garden, thank you for sharing.

Oh you are teasing me Susan.....you have flowers! You very lucky Lady you. Fortunately, the three you mentioned are hardy....bet they'll handle any snow better than you will LOL Thank you so much for having a look at my summer gardens.....completely snow covered at the moment but I can smell spring....well, almost anyway

A fine and fabulous shot and a nice reminder of the spring to come. Although, my garden is pretty much in bloom most of the year (yeah, California...what can I say). I love the deep colors and lush green. The crystal clear quality of the shot gives one the impression of looking right out an open window. Super fabulous!

Why thank you so much Trajan for such a fine review. Yeah- you Californians have all the luck w/ the weather, don't you. This is actually almost the view right out my front windows .....completely white at the moment....sigh...but a couple more months and I'll be good to go again...lol Appreciate you checking out my summer gardens.

There is such wonderful strength in the color and lighting over this rather grand back yard. I do so wish my yard had real soil in it (sand) so I could get a "moment of joy" out of my yard. LOL Breath of fresh air, thanks for sharing!

The beautiful saturated but natural colour really makes this photograph pop, great focus and clarity to enjoy the entire view of this lovely garden, I am looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful flower photographs, I am feeling nostalgic for spring, sick of rain, snow, mud, lol, this has cheered me up.
A lovely view.
