I like your detailed notes and the site of these lovely flowers makes me long for Spring :) Your exposure is very nice. The yellows look great. I think your background choice was very clever and looks good with the flowers and accentuates the Springtime ambiance :)

Always a joy to see these flowers, we have a variety of different ones out now but being blown down by the gales blowing. I like the soft lighting it gives good detail and the composition is good and the back light gives a bit more interest. Thanks for sharing.

They are beautiful. I like the softness of the shot and the shallow background. It looks as if they are standing on a hill with the sky and sun behind. It adds interest that the there is just one blossom full open and the others are in different stages of opening. The colors of the shot are nicely natural. The photo is adequately framed.

These miniature daffodils are so lovely, and I like so much the delicate colors of the background. It is also nicely softened for the flowers to stand out in a very good way.

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the flower, and the exposure is very good.

The photo is also nicely cropped and the flowers have got a perfect placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Really good notes w/ your piece Mary Lynn.

Your colors are spot on perfect. Nice job there. Focus is good....you got wonderful detail in the foliage and especially in that front facing blossom. Softly diffused background is good as well.....lovely backdrop for your flowers. Wondering if you could have brightened it a bit?? used just a tad more light?

It's a really pretty piece though ML......love the way you framed it.

I found it easier to master my 70-300 lens then my macro..But I do use my macro at least twice a year.
I think you did fine on your set up with use of natural light and you have a fine soft DOF.
Your focus is sharp, but I think more light was needed.
I may have adjusted highlights and lighting using Topaz lens effects.
Nice work Mary Lynn!
