Last year, 10th of March, it was arranged a skiing event for small kids. They had competitions for them, and my grandson was participating. They also had a lot of games, a place where the children could make drawings and of course: â??The Olsen Gangâ??. The three boys are very popular and my grandson got a poster with their autographs. He was so proud. I tried to take a photograph when it was handed over, but it was too crowded to get a good shot. But I got the young actors. The films they are acting in is based on the adult films about the same gang. I have added a bit of the background story for you to read. Olsen-Banden Olsen Banden (English: The Olsen Gang) is a series of Danish crime comedy movies revolving around Egon Olsen and his gang and their (mostly unsuccessful) crimes. The series consists of 14 movies (the first is from 1968 and the last from 1998). Around the time of the forth movie, Egon started to commit his burglaries using highly unusual plans, involving creative use of everyday items, as well as social engineering by playing on broad stereotypes. These plans would become the most the defining and popular trait of the series. At the same time, a significant amount of social and political commentary was introduced. In a clear criticism of the capitalistic society, the number of Corrupt Corporate Executives, as well as impoverised and alcoholic characters, rose dramastically.Norway and Sweden made their own series. The Norwegian version had the same characters and the same name, while the Swedish version renamed all characters and, by extension, the series to Jönssonligan. The gang consists of: â?¢ Egon Olsen: Criminal mastermind. â?¢ Benny Frandsen: Small-time thief and swindler. The more competent of Egon's accomplices. â?¢ Kjeld Jensen: The stupid and nervous guy.
