Canon 350D with Tamron 90mm lens - hand held. In the aftermath of Hurricane Ophelia, the Saharan sand was transported in the atmosphere to give this unusual view of the sun. One should never look directly at the sun, but this was so unusual I had taken the shot without thinking. A very unusual phenomenon.
