Macro Photos Contest Entry 
I love to catch site of bugs that look unusual and this one definitely did. He is some kind of wasp, I think, but he had great color and character, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to shoot a few frames. He was on a Peony flower bud in our cutting garden, that, sadly we had to leave behind when we moved.
