Flower Photos Contest Entry

Over the years I have tried several ROSE shrubs in my gardens.....even ones supposedly able to handle the harsh winters here where I live. The only one that has survived and thrived happens to be the very first one I planted about 10 years ago. I refer to it as 'The' ROSE.

The image seen here shows a single blossom of my one and only ROSE bush. Taken late on an overcast afternoon I was trying to capture the wonderful varied peachy/pink tones and all the marvelous little curls and twists.
