When we purchased our home, the previous owner left this iron sculpture that he created, riding across the front yard. Unfortunately, he couldn't take it with him, so we inherited it. It was an extremely bright, hot and humid afternoon the day I took this shot - another perfect day in paradise! The sun touched the rider's head/cap and almost gave it and the nearby flowering bushes, the illusion of melting. Occasionally, we move it, though it is quite heavy, and life size, it makes a good conversation piece for the neighbors. Not all the conversation is good either! LOL
