He is called by several names. You might have heard of St Nick or Nicolaus, a character originating in eastern and northern Europe. He is one of the characters who gave life to the idea of Santa Claus.

The forest is product of my fantasy. For the St. Nicklas I used a figurine, handmade by a friend and given to me as Christmas gift, as model for my scratches and painting. The cape of the figurine is as voluminous at the original as it appears in the painting. My friend gave me her permission to use her creation as a model, but prefers to be anonym. She does not sell any of her work nor works on assignment.
