if only they would be as engrossed in their lessons! I cannot help wondering if we had 'colleges' less of academic qualifications, more of practical subjects, yes, I know we have some but on the whole our teachers push the kids into further academic qualifications, so the kids think it is imperative for their future. I never cease telling them that the brain surgeon needs someone to cut his hair, fix his car, build and decorate the house he lives in and cook his meals, so stop stressing over academia which you hate.
