This is Bucker,the Dream Shot Buck(DSB) nicely posing near my house.Fortunately there was only a doe nearby that wasn?t disturbed by my presence,so i was able to get reasonably close to Bucker as he was grazing.We have a lot of ?seasonal deer? right now that are a bit more skittish than our year round deer,which often makes it hard to go outside and photograph them,one gets nervous and runs,the rest,especially Bucker and any of the other bucks will take off.As you can see,he still has his antlers which will probably drop off within the next month;some of the other bucks have already shed their antlers.We are hoping that Bucker drops his rack out back where we can find it!
