There are two living species of Argus Pheasants. The Borneo and the Malaysian, or Malay. The Bornean are a little smaller than the Malaysian. The male Malay Great Argus Pheasants are among the largest of all pheasants, measuring up to 6.5 feet in length and he has the longest tail feathers of any wild bird. The females are slightly smaller.

This female and her baby are at the Minnesota Zoo.
