The Spicy Jatropha [Jatropha integerrima] also known as Peregrina is an evergreen Shrub or small tree of the spurge family [Euphobiaceae]. The plant is native to Cuba, Hispaniola and the West Indies. The plant is hardy and salt tolerant. It is widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical gardens.
