One of the best feature, of old houses like ours is the wood burning fireplace. This year we have an EF2 tornadoes, and the devastation struck down almost all the original trees that were planted more than fifty years ago. The best part is, we have so many files of firewoods, and we've been enjoying a toasty living room with this fireplace, and all day long, we're playing instrumental gospel music, with matching biblical verses on the t.v. screen. Ah, our simple way of coping cold winter days.
