my youngest son is a hari Krishna devotee and I have painted some pictures for him and his group. Grandson's grandparents on the other side were Indian, and we used to be amused at times at Grandpop who obviously had a yen to elevate. Unfortunately, he was a catholic Goan and they really only go to Mass and grandma is a Parsee and they don't elevate either, but he really believed it was possible. I began with the levitating man, and I am not an authority so do not know if it is or is not possible, then the dream of Krishna. I have painted many whole Krishnas, but this is a dream so it just appears, not in its wholeness, then lastly the earth below. I think it maybe gives it an incompleteness, which it is, as it is not real merely a dream! But in this sense, rising to Krishna ,looming there above, is larger than our little blue earth!
