Painted this one in 2004. This is my attempt at capturing, in acrylic, a creature that to me is super fascinating. The male carries the babies until they are born. Who says males can't be neutering, not nature.
To me they have mystical quality, that I hope my painting captured, by the colors & pattern used on the seahorse and in the blue background allowing him be pushed towards the observer of the painting.
