I believe this is a female common redpoll, she is up in the mountain ash tree just off my back deck. I liked the way the sunlight was shining on her eye . There are a lot of common redpolls here in Alaska, they frequent my feeders and as I watch them it seems that they throw most of the seeds on the ground and then several of them will gather and eat the seeds.
