I so love nature, that I find myself exploring every nook and cranny to see what I may find. It works out very well when you like to photograph subjects as well. I had no idea this mallard was resting just around the corner, beneath some bushes. In my eyes he was a great discovery! I got some great shots and he was totally at ease with my presence. I have a question to ask....Is this an immature male Mallard or a cross-over between a Mallard and another type of duck?
