Black and White Photo Contest Contest Entry

These are the medieval cloisters of Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire, England. The Abbey was founded in 1132 by Benedictine monks and is one of the largest and best preserved ruined monasteries in England. I loved the light and shadows made by the old windows creating patterns on the stone floor.
