Was so disappointing this year as we headed to the pond for the Lotus flowers. Not sure what the issue was but it had been cleared of all but 4 or 5 plants normally a mass of leaves and blossoms in varying stages. This year there were two blooms, the one posted here and a bud. Maybe as our last two summers have been unseasonably mild or maybe the gardeners decided to give the pond a clean, certainly hope next year the display is back.
