My Beauty Art Contest Entry
I have recived the comment before about my tropical pieces based on this area appearing too "busy", but the thing is that in certain jungle micro-climates the environment was even more varied and busy than I have depicted here. We are not used to this in these northern climes! I composed this graphic in honor of Film Documentarist, Uli Stelzner (http://iskacine.com/) who revisited the site of my infamous father's old place in the Guatemala rain-forest. Uli wanted to buy a historic brass bell back from a church so he could hang it where it used to hang 30 years earlier. The problem being that trees had grown up in the area and all there was to hang the bell from in 2013 was a vine, lol... This graphic is similar to the first graphic I posted on FAR, which I had reserved for a contest, except the site locked me out and I could not get back in for a month or so to finish entering it in the contest until the contest was over. This is a second effort posting a version of the one I posted in 2018 -- this is the original though... I hope you enjoy!
