A Story To Tell - Art Contest Entry
Warli painting is a form of tribal art mostly created by the tribal people in Maharashtra state, India. This has become very popular and artists hold exhibitions of these paintings to raise money for the tribals. These paintings are done on walls in villages depicting village life. This style of painting is unique to these tribals and never deviate from this style. There are art classes teaching the style. Each painting will tell a story.
I have painted this on black paper 9"x12" using white gouache paint.
