If your writing is displayed on FanStory we show that count here. Writers at FanStory post stories, books and poems online to be viewed and read by readers at FanStory.
You have the option to share your work with FanStory authors when you post or edit your work. If you say "Yes" to this question artist will have permission to include your work with their post. Member created contests on FanStory and may also include the image.
You will receive full credit and be notified when someone uses your artwork. A link will be made available to your artwork from the FanStory work that uses it.
The benefits of sharing the artwork is that your work will be seen by more people. You can also enjoy reading a story or poem or listening to music that uses or was inspired by your artwork.
We can not control how your work is used. You can disable it at anytime which will remove your work from future and past uses. But you can not "take it away" from an individual author, artist or an individual work. If a poem, for example, is written that you don't like you can not refuse permission to that particular individual. But you can disable it at anytime which will remove it from this site and also FanStory.
In addition, you can turn this feature off at anytime. Turning this feature off will remove permission from future use of the work on FanStory (but not past uses). Disabling a work will remove it from both sites including work that has used it before. We, of course, encourage artists to leave their work online since once it is used it is a part of the individual work on FanStory.
