This is a lovely piece of art. Has good strong darks against the face and side of her head and right arm. A good likeness of Ava Gardner.
I am curious about what media you used. Looks like pencil, charcoal and maybe watercolor.

great job on the image. The lighting and shading with the grey-scale is breathtaking. The touches of wispy movements in her hair and the neck area gives so much life to the picture simple because they are those tiny human imperfections.

This is a realistic rendition of a dark haired woman who oozes feminine charm.
I do find the harsh light on her face "hollywood-ish" and miss the lack of detail. I suppose in photography we would say it has a brushed appearance and what beauty queen does not wish to be flawless whether drawn or photographed.
