My bought a few things. At that time she was smiling since my wife did't bargain and paid whatever she asked. I think she was self-conscious when I took her picture!:) Thanks so very much for your time and the fine review! I really appreciate it!

A very nicely composed shot with the lady well positioned amidst her colorful wares. The image is very sharp and the colors are richly saturated. Best of luck in the contest.

Very good entry for the contest. Great shot of the lovely lady surrounded by her colourful wares in Delhi - probably wondering where her child has run off to! I like the angle you used for this. Very good lighting and focus. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

It never ceased to amaze me how the women of India find ways of making money. At the home of my writer friend, there was a woman who came in only to clean the bathroom, nothing else, a woman to cook the breakfast, another one to cook the lunch, another one to clean the flat, another one to take washing etc I was absolutely amazed that that my friend managed to keep up with them all. I asked his wife about the poverty all around, she merely shrugged: we do our bit for India, by employing these people /she was a virulent Hindu nationalist and despised me, though their daughter married an Austrian and lives there still??? still haven't worked that one out/ Beautiful photograph, lots of colours and bright patterns. My bestie had seven daughters, and though Pakistani /north Indian in our mother in laws terms/ spent an enormous amount on bangles and clothes. /I mean enormous, like a couple of hundred for Eid, and they had to have a different suit for each day of Eid./ I am just amazed they do not get stolen, in England, that display would not last long!

Quite an attractive and colourful array of goods for sale out there! Your fine composition gives us a very good look at that pavement shop. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done and good luck!
