This is a tremendous shot. Focus is so crisp and sharp, color so vibrant, light perfect. His stance is like that of a penguin with its wings behind it's back. Contrast is good and on close inspection you can pick out individual feathers, the beak illuminates the face. A stunning bird.

What a gorgeous guy. And, now i know he is an indigo bunting. He is beautiful and his coloring exquisite. Love the shot with his little head tilted as if out of curiosity wondering why you are taking his picture. good luck in the contest.

The bird is placed nicely within the frame. Very nice composition with good balance and DOFF. Good luck with the contest.
