The fawn is such a wonderul subject, and yes, you were definitely in the right place at the right time to catch her/him like this.
Your clarity/focus is so good.
We really see well the texture of his fur, the outlines of his body, the patterns he wears and his shiny nose.
Such a lovely softness to him/her.
Your light is just right.
I like the details of the ground around and the grass in the back.
The greens provide nice contrasting color and the backround gives some depth to the picture.
Too bad the front toe is cut off, but the space around the sides and top is good.
