I like the shadows, the colors and the activity going on. The left side seems a little soft on focus, but my reason for deducting points, was the sharpening lines around the lowest ant. Maybe you could smooth them out. Donkeyoatey

Thank you so much for your review and the suggestions. I have to check on the original, especially for the sharpening lines. It is an older photo but I don't recall to have done any sharpening on it. I think I posted the original but I never do corrections on original files. But I sure have a look and will see what I can do.
Sorry for my late response.
[The big guy isn't an ant but some kind of an wasp like insect about a half inch in length.]

Thank you very much for your generous review. I wasn't brave it all. These guys aren't agressive. I live here for almost 14 years and they are always around but I never heard of anyone getting stung.

this is an usual composition and it is displayed well. Your light is good for this and the focus is excellent. Nicely done with the presentation.

This is a great shot. I have never seen a banana bloom before. Very colorful and so attractive. It seems very attractive to the bees and bugs. Nice lighting and focus. Very nice photo.

That is a very interesting picture. I have vever before seen a banana b;ossom, and I have never seen those little black bees. The picture attracts and holds my attention. The colors are strong and harmonious; the lighting and contrast are good, and the detail is wonderful.

Thank you so much. These little black bees are unique to parts of Central America and the Yucatan peninsula.

looks like they all get a table with a
view. ha ha. this is cool even though
i don't like bugs. the color harmony is
super and the varying insects do add
to the shot overall. good focus and
clarity. well done
thanks for sharing...eileen
