Fred,
A wonderful aerial picture of your beautiful capital Paris spread out under you like a map from which I was able to recognise several landmarks more than you have named, before I read your narrative. Beautiful composition beautiful natural lighting superb camera techniques with sharp focus.
Merci beaucoup, for Sharing it with us.
Susan

Very interesting and unique. Good job taking it from the air, and not having the wing in the way. Did the plane turn sharp, or how did you get this?

Yes I always thought Paris had a good grid system. Interesting picture the lines of all the streets create an interesting texture and pattern.

Just as I reviewed Jaime's bell pepper in the air, here is Fred's Paris from the air!
Well, this is one of the most complex but carefully planned city's thoroughfares I've ever seen in the world.
Just look at the stretch of straight streets traversing numerous towns and cities!
See the cobweb networks of main streets and avenues and rotundas or cul-de-sac!
Isn't that well planned zoning?
Thanks for sharing.

At first, I thought this was a drawing. It's amazing you have captured all the main attractions of the city. (Thanks for the notes.) Very clear image and beautiful subtle colors. Very interesting photograph!

It's been 16 years since I visited Paris -- it looks the same (LOL!). Arial photography of this magnitude is geometrically appealing and full of interest - particularly large cities such as Paris. Qui? (2 years of college French - I was so disappointed when I went to Paris and everyone spoke English) Great job! Thanks for sharing.

Wow, the beautiful city Paris is condensed into the geometry, but the pattern still reveal such a beauty. Thank you for sharing.
