Would never have guessed that this was a wasp! Where in the world was this taken? Your full and central composition offers us a good view of it. Sharpness and exposure are fine. Nicely taken!

Thank you Nik! I took this in the city where I live, Brooklyn Center, MN.

Thanks, is this New York? Please excuse my ignorance as I am a Brit!

No worries, it is Minnesota :)

Very well photographed with spot on focus, this image is clear, incredible details show on this potter wasp , colors and tones appear natural. Exposure is perfect. This is very interesting to view, we don't have these in Ak. Very well composed , artists notes are appreciated as well!

I love the sharpness of this photo. I also like how you blurred the flower that the wasp was on, but left the wasp itself very sharp. It's a really cool photo!

Wow! Perfectly cropped and well composed shot of the Potter Wasp. I like how sharp every part of the wasp is captured. Beautiful details capture through entire body, face, wings. Very well photographed in natural setting .....a good exposure and white balance. Your diffused background compliments your work beautifully. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

It's an interesting creature indeed,Grace, and your fine looking photograph of this particular specimen is very enjoyable to look at!
She has a 'dangerous' and slightly 'sinister' look to her that I really like! : )
